DQX, FF Versus XIII most wanted games in Japan, says Famitsu

Despite not knowing a single peep out of it since its reveal back in December 2008, other than it’s on Wii, Dragon Quest X is Japan’s most wanted game, according to Famitsu.

Final Fantasy Versus XIII for PS3 was second, with a DS title called Ni no Kuni in third.

Other big name titles were included in the list, such as the fifth generation of Pokemon, Final Fantasy Agito XIII, The Last Guardian and even the PS3 version of The Last Remnant, despite the fact its probably kicked the bucket by now.

Last Remnant PS3 is 9th most wanted game in Japan? :shock:

I see they’re looking forward to a healthy number of Western-developed games too. Who says Japanese gamers are insular? :-D

Canton – Studio Ghibil? Truth be told, I’m not a hardcore fan of the movies, although I want to be.

I already have Whisper of the Heart on DVD, which I actually love to death, and I know they did Spirited Away (right?).

But I do want to get into the movies more anyways. As for the games, that’s a new one on me, actually.

So. “Last” smthng x3, “Lost” smthng x2… where’s “Lust” smthng? ;)

(oh yeah, Final x3, adds to the Last. It seems jap gamers (or gamemakers) have healthy interest for “1 of the kind” things)
