Blizzard has released the sixth patch for its StarCraft II Beta, and it includes gameplay changes and additions.

After installing the patch, players can now view another player’s profile after completing a game, and some improvements were made to 2v2 matchmaking and pathfinding.

There’s also the usual tweaks and balancing as well.

Full patch notes can be found over on

SCII will be released sometime or another. Maybe we will finally get a date for it at BlizzCon this October.

Thanks, BigDownload.

It will be out long before October. The game is smooth as ice, they just need to balance the game. The beta key I recieved was supposedly the last wave of people.

Great game, but i’m dissapointed that Starcraft 2 is Starcraft 1 in 3D.

Compared to Warcraft 2 —-> Warcraft 3 changes, thats not a work for 12 years. Maybe Koreans will be pleased, but i’m not at cybersport much.

I know right they have spent 4 plus years making Starcraft 2 and Diablo and its not at all different from the original other than graphics which even that are not that great this gen. Pretty obvious where Blizz priorities lie. *cough* WoW *cough*
