Ghost Recon: Future Soldier gets live-action trailer

A new live-action trailer for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has gone up, showing some Russians, civil unrest and more.
It’s after the break.
The trailer sees the Ghosts try to assassinate Russian ultranationalist leader Ivan Kerenski before the shit really hits the fan.
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is due out in fall for Wii, PC, PS3 and 360. A multiplayer beta is also due to begin in the summer, which you can get access to when you buy Splinter Cell: Conviction.
Thanks, IGN.

It’s hard to create an original story/enemy, but this is still a very nice trailer

Just a minor bummer that those bleeding gunshot wounds on the two targets are too obvious “powered by After Effects”

I’m sorry, but that was fucking stupid.
Americans again beat Russian terrorists ass in the Red Square.
For typical american or scriptwriter every russian drinks vodka, eats nuclear bomb at dinner and he is a bad terrorist or communist.
Who thinks that this trailer is awesome, not educated enough from School or need to upgrade his brain. Trailer was seriously stupid and i saw a sign “Save from Communism”.
Thats just really, really old and stupid.

For typical american or scriptwriter every russian drinks vodka, eats nuclear bomb at launch and he is a bad terrorist or communist.”
I give you Tom Clancy. No doubt something will go down in Mexico at one point. Clancy either really loves the setting, or really hates Mexicans.

@9: I’m sorry to, but rephrasing your reaction with a stereotype Russian accent is extremely hilarious

Man, i can’t hate on this. The cloaking looks awesome, and if we’ll be strolling these kind of environments in the game in co-op with cloaking, that’s gonna be great.

In the near future, New York, America.
Republicans have violently seized power.
Civil unrest has erupted.
Russian Special Forces to the rescue.

That was really depressing to watch.
The Vegas games already had me on the edge, but there’s no fricken way I’m spending any sort of dough on this.
Endwar was fun with the voice controls and all, but to me Tom Clancy means “believable’ish” political/military fiction, and that’s what those of his games I grew up with meant too.
Now it’s gone from tactical shooters and strategy games to sci-fi nonsense. If people enjoy it, more power to them, but I don’t see why you’d leave a perfectly good niche in realism for something that’s so generic and readily available these days.
