Witcher 2 dev diary and cutscene vids are worth the watch

CD Projekt has updated the official website for The Witcher with a developer diary and a cutscene video that actually makes you feel a bit sorry for the monster thingie in it.

He's being fed to something more horrible than he is, as you will see.

In the dev diary, Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, lead implementation designer, project lead Adam Badowski and senior producer Tomasz Gop chat about how the sequel was already being worked on as The Witcher was being finished.

They also chat about how the reception of the first game confirmed to the team that it had created a good RPG, which is what it aimed to do.

Also, thanks to current technologies, CD Projekt can now implement ideas into the game that were not available with the previous technology.

All sounds and looks great to us. We honestly cannot wait for this.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is slated for release in Q1 2011, and it was confirmed earlier today that it's planned for PS3 and Xbox 360 as well as PC.

Check out the videos through here.

Thanks, TomisH.
