Sony shoots down LittleBigPlanet 2 “confirmation” comment
Hey, remember when a Sony marketing manager confirmed LittleBigPlanet 2′s existence?
Yeah, not so much, says Sony.
Speaking with Connected Consoles, an SCEE rep wiped the grins right off LBP fans’ faces with this little number:
“As demonstrated recently at GDC, LittleBigPlanet has been shown as an example of how an existing game could benefit from PlayStation Move Motion Controller support. This is not a confirmation of LittleBigPlanet 2, and we do not have any announcements to make about the LittleBigPlanet franchise.”
Your parade? Rained on. Drenched to the bone. Then thrown off a cliff and struck by lightning. In slow-motion, actually. It was kind of awesome. You should have seen it.
Er, we mean, we’re very sorry for your loss.

The head guy an media molecule is right when he said making a Little Big Planet sequel would be taking a back step! Well unless they made Little Big Planet 2 with full 3D environments that can be played created and shared in.
That would be awesome for us to be able to make full 3D levels!
