Red Dead Redemption trailer makes us impatient

alan wake, split second.lost planet 2 and this the same week of release? (i need a loan)

One of them’s being sent to die. And I have a bad feeling, as much as it pains me to say this, it’s either this or Split/Second.

Can’t be Alan Wake or Lost Planet 2 anyways.

Well, Split/Second is a racer so the comparison’s a bit suspect, and Wake, LP2 and RDR are quite distinct properties even at the box-cover level. They may crowd each other out in the week of release, but I’d expect each game to have a long tail.

It’ll be Red Dead Redemption for me that week. Easily. Sorry, Alan.

i’ll probably leave lost planet 2 and pick up the rest. Alan Wake looks too good to ignore.

I don’t think this is going to die. It’s a busy week for sure but most people I know – “gamers” but not the kind who read Kotaku or VG247 all day – are most excited about the “Rockstar GTA game with cowboys in it”. I think this is going to do just fine.

I personally think, and this isn’t a fanboy remark, that Alan Wake’s the game that might have trouble sandwiched between said games. If Split/Second gets a good demo it’ll be fine, and Lost Planet 2′s already an established franchise.

Just my $0.02 anyway.

that´s indeed tough. i have to get lp2 because i was a huge fan of the first one – loved post grab in mp. red dead looks like a must buy for me, alan wake too…glad that i´m happy right now with bfbc2. won´t buy another game until those triple purchases in may…money is one thing…but time is a serious problem

@2 its more like to be Alan Wake that falls becos this is created by R* dont forget, which makes it automaticly have some rep. Plus when was the last good third person western?

They will all succeed, but i think this will get delayed again.
