Funcom was kind enough to show us The Secret World at GDC, and you can get a taste of what we saw via the teaser video below the break.
It's definitely a interesting premise, and a massive undertaking for Funcom. While it may seem a bit strange to have all these different denizens from our nightmares and horror films walking around in an MMO, there is a method to the developer's madness.
Although what that is, they refused to tell us. Funcom is saving that as part of the plot that eventually unfolds as you play the game.
