Watch Kevin Butler’s Move video from the future

kevinbutler

Sony’s VP of Everything, Kevin Butler, has a new video up on YouTube chatting about Move, which was fully revealed at GDC last week.

It’s below the break, and makes you smile at least – maybe it also gives you a reason to buy it even if you already own a Wii.

We have no idea what goes on in your head or pocketbook, and it is really none of our business, unless you plan to buy us something.

Enjoy.

Finally, Sony are starting to take jabs at the competition again…and it’s all wrapped up in comedy.

Sony seemed to have gone from super arrogant to super quiet, so it’s good to see them start coming out of their shell again.

Interesting… Will we see Kevin Butler at Sony’s E3 2010? I think its the best strategy to promote Sony’s show. Jack Tretton is a honest guy and he have decent humour but he is not at the same level as Kevin Butler.

Just sayin’

Imagine if the two of them teamed up? That would be… scary. And entertaining.

Anyway, Sony, please never end this ad campaign, okay? It’s the best one since the “fun, anyone?” run in the PS2 era.

Not bad but I wont be getting this or Natal.
My Wii has been doing nothing for 18 months and I don’t see that changing so get real MS and Sony Ninty have done it and it appeals to a certain group.

That group is not in either of your camps imo.

Kevin Butler should be nowhere near Sony’s E3 presser. Having him presenting would just be dumb.

Things like that never work out.

“Kevin Butler should be nowhere near Sony’s E3 presser. Having him presenting would just be dumb.”

Having him at E3 would be AWESOME! Would be nice to inject a little bit of humour into these conferences for once.

Agreed with Mo’C.

Kevin Butler at least needs a segment at E3… I personally would give him the whole damn show, or at least allow him on stage with Jack.

Last year’s Sony presser was pretty good but it still needs that extra pazaz that someone like Butler could bring to it.

Bit embarassing imo. And setting themselves up for a fall: In November when Move has not sold many this will get a hundred thousand hits a week on Youtube LOL.

This was fairly entertaining. As a PC gamer, I’d be interested in seeing whether anyone could come up with open source drivers for this. >_> And with that said, no one can really take away from the bloke’s obvious sense of humour, he’s really amusing, and his stings were well placed.

@21

I’ve made a comment before that someone should make a Firefox extension that filters out any and all comments on the Internet that contain the abbreviation ‘L-O-L’, because it’s never actually tied to anything worthwhile.

All I see there is you defensively bashing the man for his well-handled burns.

I don’t want you to stop using ‘L-O-L’ though, because it’s my personal indicator that the comment isn’t going to have much intellectual worth, and it’s probably going to be unintentionally funny. See: G1GAHURTZ.

Sony should have done these adverts right at the beginning.

The man is a genius.

Shame we don’t get these adverts over here in GB. I tend to make sure I DL them from the US PSN as soon as they’re made available.

Haven’t got them all yet though.
