AvP patch coming to Xbox 360 and PS3

Rebellion has announced that a patch is in the works for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Aliens vs Predator.

The patch is being made possible by looking over player feedback following the game's launch.

Following updates to the PC, which includes a Dedicated Server client, the company stated on it's blog:

“We are aware of and grateful to the community for communicating with us and helping this process along. The updates are going through rigorous QA and we hope to have them available publicly very soon.”

Along with the some balancing and weapon tweaks, XBL users will have shorter wait times for ranked matches, and more support for left handed players.

Other modifications include "XP being incorrectly affected by offline play and team balancing logic for applicable modes".

“We’ve been overwhelmed with the response to AVP and want our fans to know if it’s within our power to keep them happy through on-going support then we shall do so," said Rebellion CEO Jason Kingesley.

"Some things just can’t be foreseen and it’s great that we are able to respond to requests for modifications in this way.”

New DLC for the game is expected to hit tomorrow, and includes the extra goodies packed with the Special Edition.
