Yakuza 5 revealed in Japan

According to Famitsu, Yakuza 5 has been revealed at a press event in Japan.
During the press event, the game was referred to as “Project K”, with series director Toshihro Nagoshi taking the reins on this one once again.
A picture trailer was also shown during the event, which shows a young boy walking around in the rain underneath the Kamurocho.
No platforms or a targeted date was mentioned at the event, which was a Yakuza 4 launch party.
Thanks, Andriasang.

I really hate sega now more than ever. They were making two yakuza sequels but they can’t even make a complete yakuza 3 for the west. Fuck them!

Similar situation to the Phoenix Wright games.
They got a lot more of them in the East, and we got them in a weird order in the West.

Not surprised , given the cost of YA3 , and even with it’s big success , they’d want to make the most of the engine because switching to new engines and/or consoles
