BioWare throws Kasumi into the Mass Effect 2 mix

BioWare has updated the Mass Effect 2 site with information on Kasumi, an “enigmatic thief that has “enemies everywhere”.
Part of the upcoming DLC Kasumi’s Stolen Memory, she is the newest and final addition to your team.
Apparently, not much is known about her, other than “Cerberus has contracted her to assist Commander Shepard in the mission to save mankind” and in order to get her help, you must first assist her in infiltrating the vault of criminal art collector Donovan Hook.
Set for release on April 6, the DLC mission also includes a Locust weapon, a new achievement and other goodies – and don’t forget that the Firewalker DLC is expect sometime this month.
Sounds like a plan. Thankfully, gamers can expect more bits like this too keep coming, as Bioware told us at GDC that even more content is on the way for ME2, and there should be enough to keep you occupied for a while yet.

Awesome. Cant wait to get my hands on this little perk. I wonder exactly how much DLC BioWare is gonna bring to Mass Effect 2 before cutting us off…that would be a sad moment.

One of the things that frustrated me the most about ME2 was the fact that the characters were sharper than ever, but there simply wasn’t any story to apply them to, you were just running through really transparent compositions meant to support another Rainbow Six: Vegas sequence.
And the ending… Sheesh, I haven’t been that disappointed by the (lack of) creativity in a developer since I got executed in the first person for the fourth or fifth time in the MW2 campaign.

What was wrong with the ending? I thought it was awesome.

I think ME1′s ending was far more epic HOWEVER ME2′s was nice too. My only complaint is the Terminator at the end. If they were going to make a Reaper design after a human, they could have tried their best to not make it look like a Terminator.
