According to a Today’s Gamers MMO Focus Report by and TNS, Americans spent an eye-watering £2.55 billion on MMOs last year.

The study said that 1.5 million Brits spend an average of £10.50 per month on online games in 2009, but that the figure was dwarfed by US spend.

French MMO revenue was at £145 million for the year, while Germany shed £165 million in the pursuit of levelling up.

The report claimed that, unsurprisingly, World of Warcraft and Runescape were the most popular MMOs in the UK last year, with approximately 750,000 Brits admitting to have played.

online gamin is too much of open platform for them to do that. I am sure if that was to happen goverments all over the world would want a share.

p.s don’t give them any more ideas than they have already. there is too much greed in this wrold as it is already.
