SCEE: GT5 date remains unannounced

SCEE's told VG247 that a date for GT5 remains unannounced.

It comes as an Italian website reported a Sony rep said the game would release in October at GDC last week.

But a rep from the firm told us:

"We haven't officially announced a release date for GT5."

The company couldn't comment any further.

SCEE said on Friday it plans to announce a date for the Polyphony racer sometime "soon".

SCEA exec Peter Dille, meanwhile, said last week during the company's GDC presser the game's coming this year.
