Molyneux: Fable II episodes release was “successful”

Lionhead boss Peter Molyneux has said the release of Fable II Episodic was a “successful” one.
“That was hugely successful,” said the developer, speaking at GDC. “There were something like over half a million. I think it was 600,000 downloads of the first episode, which was very, very cool.”
In a Joystiq interview, he also hinted Fable III may go down the same route, but stated “we’re not announcing whether that’s coming out in this release.”
Molyneux dropped a big chunk of info on Fable III at GDC last week: John Cleese, Natal, the need to sell 5 million, new shots, a possible PC version and more.
The game’s due out by the end of this year.

Did the other episodes even come out? I only remember seeing the first one!

I think you can download the second episode once you’re finished the first and so on.

First episode was all you had to download I believe.
From there, you just had to buy further chapters in-game, I think.

Ah, I see – I was expecting the other chapters to pop up on the dash over time.

I thought Mr Molyneux had already let this one slip at the Golden Joysticks?
