Modern Warfare 2 becomes second best-selling game ever in UK
GfK Chart-Track’s announced Modern Warfare 2 has now become the second biggest selling title in the UK now since its launch in November of last year.
The game’s surpassed Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, with it slotting behind Dr. Kawashima’s Brain Training on DS as number one. No specific amount of sales figures were announced by the firm.
The game charted sixth in this week’s UK charts, with sales of the Infinity Ward shooter up by two percent.
The first DLC pack for it, the Stimulus package, is due for release on March 30 on Xbox Live. It’ll retail for 1200 MS points (£10).
