Fired Infinity Ward bosses sign with Hollywood talent agency

Ousted Infinity Ward co-founders Vince Zampella and Jason West have signed with Hollywood’s biggest talent agency, the LA Times reports.
The duo is now being represented by the Creative Artists Agency.
The article notes that most game developers work for publishers and are not represented by talent agents, so landing the pair marks a coup for CAA.
At least one of the other top Hollywood agencies was looking to sign West and Zampella since they lost their jobs, according to a person familiar with the situation.
Zampella and West were spectacularly fired from Modern Warfare developer Infinity Ward for “insubordination” in early March.
They are currently suing Activision for alleged unpaid royalties and control of the Modern Warfare brand.

So you do or you don’t watch tele any more, your confusing me…again…? Your defo on one this morning, what did you have for breakfast, red bull and bensons I reckon…?
Anyway, I imagine they won’t be doing a film about game devs, more like writing ‘blockbuster’ Bruckheimer style action films or suchlike.

To repeat another post, since you’re making the same stupid comment in two places:
Goldeneye released August 1997
CoD released October 2003
BDH, you are a tool.

How did you manage to get hold of a copy of CoD in 1997?

I’m sure that every one of the millions and millions of CoD4 and MW2 players out there are hugely aware of CoD’s background on PC and wouldn’t have purchased their console copies were it not for CoD’s PC heritage… NOT.

Reading through that whole discussion just made me think back to the first time I played the original Call of Duty… Holy shit, that was a ride.
Now it kinda reminds me of a really fancy version of this: http://www.dosgamesarchive.com/download/shooting-gallery/
Remember how good that was, though?

The fact that there doesn’t seem to be any sort of recognised talent agency for the gaming industry is a bit sad.
