Crytek UK registers "Self Defense"

As noticed by superannuation, Crytek UK's registered a trademark for something called "Self Defense".

The registration was made in the US, as you can see here, and includes a logo featuring the title and an image of a red man holding out a fist.

Crytek UK was formally Free Radical, the British studio responsible for monkey shooter favourite, TimeSplitters.

The developer was bought by Crytek at the beginning of 2009 after it effectively went bust.

Studio boss Karl Hilton told Develop late last year that CUK's working on an original shooter IP.

He retired from VG247, and the games industry, in 2017.
