BioWare: More DLC in development for Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age

More DLC on the way for Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age: Origins? Of course there is.
We know because Ray Muzyka told VG247 US ed Stephany Nunneley at GDC yesterday.
The exec said that the studio intends to continue its strong DLC support for both titles.
“We are seeing a good response to the DLC for ME2 and Dragon Age,” said Muzyka. “The fans like it and we have more in development and the different teams for DLC and the franchise are working together moving back and forth.”
Earlier, Muzyka told VG247 that ME2 could see more “fan-response” DLC.
He also said “end game plans” for The Old Republic are in place for once you finish the MMO.
BioWare announced last night the first premium DLC for Mass Effect 2 will release on April 6.

I’ve said this before, but for DLC they really need to move away from story, characters and cutscenes and more to gameplay. I’d love just a big, 4 hour dungeon to crawl through with a big boss battle at the end rather than a 20 mins hack and slash and chat fest.

to be honest I like the cut seens, gamplay and story it what makes bio-wares.If you want action rpg then go buy daiblo or gears of war. I bet if you did a poll on bio-ware fanbase they will tell you story, cut seens and gameplay rocks for them.
rpg gamers are different from action gamers. just like action rpg’s are different from rpg games.
there was a study long ago about this topic

Actually looking at the majority of mods released so far for DA most of them are all gameplay related.
Shale was an awesome piece of DLC though. More should be like that and it seems thats what the first piece of ME2 DLC looks like.

Pure gameplay is nice, but when it comes to Mass Effect, talking to people and upgrading your gear is as much part of the gameplay as the shooting.

The problem isnt the part dedicated to atmosphere and cutscenes , but that “bit sized” content obsession of late from Bioware .
I personally hated most of the DAO dlcs , except the Shale one , they werent any fun , nor had particularly great story .
The worst being return to ostagar … all for the sake of an armor that isnt even worth it , or duplicated ad nauseum (and even upgraded) via mods .
Zaeed’s revenge was at least action packed , and way more interesting than any dlc released by bioware thus far .
Let’s just hope Katsumi and the Mako missions would be even better .
