BioWare: ME2 will have enough DLC to satisfy players

Bioware has said that it's pretty confident the content it has coming up for Mass Effect 2 will keep fans happy until the next installment in the franchise is released.

Speaking with VG247 during GDC, Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk said that BioWare has a team working specifically on DLC at the moment.

"While we have not announced ME3 yet, just that it is a trilogy, we are confident that [the DLC] we are building will be satisfying for players," said Muzyka.

"I think it's one of the things we learned from Mass Effect 1 - now we have two different teams working at the same time", added Zeschuk. "We have the DLC team, and main team, and are now able to lay it out and plan it.

"Also, we are listening to fan response by providing things that interest them, such as the Hammerhead which is coming up pretty soon, and there may be more of that [fan response DLC].

"So there's some things we want to do, but also take a look at responses from the fans".

Kasumi’s Stolen Memory is the first bit of paid DLC for ME2, and it's expected to land on April 6.

We didn't get a good look at it today, only from a distance, but what we did see looked rather cool. What with the Statue of Liberty's lovely head on display in a rogue art collector's gallery.

The Firewalker DLC is out later this month.
