Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker gets nine-minute video

mgspw

Konami’s just dropped what’s apparently the first of ten MGS: Peace Walker movies, taking in almost nine minutes of direct-feed play.

There’s a ton of stuff there that wasn’t included in the TGS demo, including new weapons, levels and the like.

The PSP title, which was recently outed as having a previous life as MGS 5, is due out on April 29 in Japan.

Get it below. Thanks, moosehound and BrutalGamer.

Okay, I’m back in.

Demo didn’t impress me, but I’m back in.

I was quite fond of the controls in the demo, though most people apparently weren’t. Some great (and funny) mechanics at work too.

Will definitely be picking this up when it comes out.

I see the camera still falls too far back from Snake making it impossible to see around corners as you move. I remember the last PSP game had that problem.

I think that’s supposed to be the point, Bulk. That why you have a corner look move. It would be redundant otherwise.

Yeah that’s true. I just found it annoying having to stop all the time to check around corners when in most games you could just move the camera.
