DICE “investigating” Bad Company 2 for Mac

Is Valve’s announcement of Steam and its games coming to OSX not enough loving for you Mac fans out there? How about the possibility of DICE bringing Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Appleward?
When asked by UGDB on the subject, Battlefield producer Karl Magnus Troedsson said: “We’re currently investigating the possibility of making BFBC2 available on Mac.”
The last time a DICE shooter was released for Mac was in 2008 for Battlefield 2142.
It’s all go in Mac-land. Valve added to its Steam announcement this morning news that Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 will be cross-platform compatible.
Thanks, Joystiq.

thats good news for apple. while pc gaming is slowly dying. gaming on mac could really become huge, they should start to think about a gamertag/psnid/trophy/gamerscore kind of thing as soon as possible for mac…i still got my old mac mini, so i wont be able to play games on that thing and will stick with consoles, but battlefield bc2 on an imac must be sweet…

Sweet. I bet you’ll start to see Microsoft pumping more money into Windows PC gaming by the end of the year.

i love bfbc2. i´m a junky already…don´t have to go to work today and wanted to play this game a lot…but the ea servers are down all the time…i wasn´t bothered that much the last few days, the game is so good that everytime you had a connection it was a blast and i thought they will fix this very soon…but now it´s even getting worse and this really pisses me off.
