Metro 2033 gets supernatural in new trailer

Eurogamer has upped a new trailer showing some of the supernatural elements of Metro 2033. This is starting to look very good.
The title’s set after the bomb in the Moscow metro, and focusses on a young man’s coming of age story against the “Dark Ones”. As you’ll see from the video, it’s all nice and spooky.
We sat down with the game’s producer Huw Beynon and author of the original Metro 2033 novel Dmitry Gluhovsky recently to talk about the horror-shooter: get it all here.
Metro 2033′s due out on March 16 in the US and March 19 in the UK for PC and 360.

Have they said if there’s going to be a demo of this?

Fingers crossed there is a demo, sort of game i need to give a try to first, but may pick it up after the inevitable price drop

i hope there isn’t a demo
i would imagine that part of the story of the game, is being inexperienced in a combat situation and being thrown into the deep end, i want to experience the combat for the first time whilst playing the full game, instead of being nullifed to the combat by running around in a risk free inconsequential demo
i take it back, i hope there is a demo as i think it’ll really help sales, but i hope it doesn’t come out before the game is released as i don’t think i’ll be able to resist

@Blerk
I’m following Metro2033 on twitter. The question was asked last week, to which they responded that they did not have time to release a demo.

Between this and BFBC2, March is maxed out for me. And both on pc this time as well. Scary how easy it is to buy games on steam.

Shame, but maybe they’ll release one post-launch, like they did with Darksiders. The idea of this is interesting, but it’s not the sort of game I’d ever buy blind.

Looks like Xbox Magazine out of UK gave the game a solid 8/10. Every time I see a new trailer, the better it gets.
