Japanese hardware charts – PSP still on a roll

PSP’s still going in Japan as the biggest selling hardware.

The handheld sold over 37k last week, while Wii came second with 36k. PS3′s 27k was enough for third ahead of DSi LL and its 24k.

Full list is below. We didn’t do this last week, so no data from last week to compare to. Sorry.

No wonder the PS3 is catching up on XBOX 360 numbers …. gotta admire them Japanese for supporting their own.

Funny, PSP does well in Japan, particularly around certain titles when it goes crazy, but it’s near dead in US judging by NPD and not too hot in Europe either.

Go figure.
