Next week’s Games Developers Choice and Independent Game Festival awards will be streamed live on GameSpot, as well as shown on TV on G4, organizers have confirmed to Gama.

Once the IGF awards finish up on both GS and G4, the GDCA’s take place, with Uncharted 2 leading the way with seven nominations.

As well as the main awards, the Lifetime Achievement, Ambassador and Pioneer awards are to be given out that night.

id founder John Carmack, Penny Arcade’s Jerry Holkins, Mike Krahulik & Robert Khoo and Valve’s Gabe Newell are also due to pick up those awards respectively.

And maybe, just maybe, we’ll see the reveal of Portal 2 at the awards next week when they kick off at 2:30am GMT (6:30pm PST).

Last year’s GDCA’s seen the reveal of Modern Warfare 2.
