Gotta say i’m quite suprised at these review scores. Did Eurogamer REALLY say that it’s better than MW2? Ouch.

It’s a different experience within a similar space in a genre. Better at this level is always going to be personal taste and that is what a review essentially expresses.

Incidentally EG also have a PS3/360 comparison too, very, very little in it at all. Would likely come down to who you want to play online with.

You beat me to it i was about to say i read the ign review last night and you can just tell their a bunch of MW2 fanboys.

I just prefer BFBC2 for the fact that when your playing online you feel apart of something bigger and actually team based opposed to MW2 where people only care about their own killstreak

I was seriously disappointed by MW2. Same old **** different day. I think BFBC2 has a bit more to offer with regards to gameplay.

Like DJ Deathstar says…online is so much more with BFBC2. Really looking forward to it!

One thing I remember from the demo though…boy did the trees look like shit when you were up close right in front of them. It was pretty horrible lol.

SERIOUS WTF lol

I probably made a huge mistake in buying it for the PC, but having played the beta, I’ve definitely regretted my preorder.

The game looks like a pixelated mess, the handling is awful, the weapon selection is grotesquely imbalanced, and so are the vehicles, as well as the distribution of them.

That’s going on beta code obviously, but I doubt they’ll fix that much, because fact is it feels exactly like Battlefield 2, which I loved, but I never thought I’d be playing the exact same game half a decade later. In fact, I won’t.

There’s no doubt everybody’s looking for a MW2 killer, it’s cold at the summit, but I’d be very surprised if Bad Company 2 proves to be it.

I dont see why IGN hasnt reviewed the pc versions.
Maybe they are tryin to decide who is less retarded and actually knows how to review a game

I want to see some complaints about BC2′s 6 hour, linear mission.

I like the way EG says it’s better than MW2, but EG Italy gives it an 8.

Good point about the SP though, sounds like they tried to do something like CoD but failed. Looks like reviewers rather ignore it and focus on the MP though.

No, I was saying that you’ve got EG saying that this is the best FPS around, yet one of it’s sister sites is supposedly only calling it “solid”. I’m just saying that if EG is supposed to hold the same sort of standards across all of its reviews, then how can there be such a difference? It’s either one or the other, because it can’t be both…

i think it´s a great game. i was so tired of mw2´s perky airstrikey crap…mw2 is also a good game but i think i prefer bfbc2. multiplayer is a lot of fun. good maps. a little more tactical but not too much…was the demo on the consoles the beta? because it feels and plays much more fluid now i believe…

The mp demo was too glitchy, hopefully they’ve smoothed things out

Wow this is a great game!

Been ranking up at a nice pace for an old guy. Haven’t touched the SP mode yet, prolly won’t for some time. Honestly can’t see the point to sp with a game like this.

Amazing.

I could use a few good squad mates to heal and revive.
