September 7 Brink date is “speculative,” says Bethesda
Bethesda’s told VG247 the September 7 date recently given for Brink is purely “speculative”.
The date for the Splash Damage shooter mentioned in a sweepstake the publisher is doing for the game. But Bethesda says the game’s still due for “fall”.
“Often times retailers will assign a release date for a game that falls within the game’s announced launch window,” said a rep.
“While we have announced that Brink is due out in fall 2010, we have yet to announce an official release date for the game. Until we have announced the release date, all other dates can be considered speculative.”
Well there you have it, then. Fall. For PS3, 360 and PC.

Characters look like they’re made out of clay. Has a ‘free run’ type feature which pretty much makes your character auto climb and duck stuff as you sprint. Is meant to be pretty MP heavy with detailed character customization and ranking up, coop to i think.

The sooner the better I say, as long as they finish it properly before they kick it out the door. I suppose depending on the dough poured into the advertising and more importantly the strength of the competition, it seems to me like it could be a Black Friday contender.
This and Deathspank are pretty much the only two games I couldn’t bear to see fail this year.

thanks for the link. saw most of these videos before but the homepage is supercool. this looks so polished. the smart system seems to be a lot of fun…this will be a great great shooter i believe.
