Forza 3 celebrates 2M units sold with Nurburgring Track DLC
Turn 10 has announced that Forza Motorsport 3 sold 2 million units since its release back in October, and to celebrate, there’s two new tracks from the Nurburgring Grand Prix Circuit up on Xbox Live.

Naughty Dog’s Amy Hennig chats about getting her start in games
Naughty Dog’s Amy Hennig had a chat with the LA Times this week regarding how she went from being a student in film school to creating videogames.
Turns out, the videogame bug bit her hard while working as freelancer for Atari in 1989.

New Assassin’s Creed set in Rome, will have assassination multiplay

Ubisoft Q3 sales broken down by console, territory
Ubisoft has released its Q3 revenue figures, and sent along a lovely chart depicting sales broken down by region and console.
Looks like Europe cornered the market for the company with 48 percent of sales coming from the territory, and PS3 and Xbox 360 tied with title sales.

Dead Space 2 in development for handhelds
Slipped away in the release for its Q3 FY10 financials, EA confirmed it’s making Dead Space 2 for handhelds as well as PS3 and 360.

Ubi reports flat Q3 sales at €495 million
Ubisoft’s just reported Q3 revenue at €495 million, down 2.7 percent from the same period last year.

Kitase and Toriyama feel FFXIII will resurrect Japanese game industry
During a chat with with the EU PS Blog, FFXIII’s Yoshinori Kitase and director Motomu Toriyama revealed that the game may help “resurrect” the Japanese game industry.

Nintendo prevails in NSMBW pirating suit, man must pay $1.5M
Nintendo of Australia has announced that its won a lawsuit filed against James Burt for pirating New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
The judgment handed down in the case comes to Burt owing the company $1.5 million AUD ($1.3 million US) for loss of revenue from a game that has so far sold over 10 million units.

Halo 3′s Mythic II Map Pack now a stand-alone on XBL

Ubisoft confirms PS3 version of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier
