Ubisoft explains DRM for ACII on PC and loss of internet connection

Yesterday, a report from PC Gamer surfaced stating that since an internet connection’s required to play Assassin’s Creed II on PC, should you lose your internet connection while playing, all progress would be lost and you would be taken back to the menu screen.
Ubisoft says that’s not the case.

EA: No developers out there can compete with DICE online

EA has once again challenged Activision’s Infinity Ward and Treyarch to a FPS fight to the death by claiming Battlefield: Bad Company 2 developer DICE is tops when it comes to online multiplayer.
