Former Team Ninja head Tomonobu Itagaki said today that he's reached a settlement over bonuses with Tecmo, adding that his new game will deliver "world class entertainment".

The news on the settlement came in the form of a note issued be the developer today. No specifics were included.

Of his new title, he was upbeat.

"I cannot wait for the day when I can announce to everyone the new title that I'm currently conceiving," he said.

He also promised to deliver "world class entertainment" with "a greater depth of play than before."

Itagaki filed against Tecmo in June 2008, claiming unpaid compensation and "disingenuous statements" from then Tecmo CEO Yoshimi Yasuda.

Thanks, Andriasang.
