Super Mario Galaxy 2 dated for May 23
Nintendo’s just dated Super Mario Galaxy 2 for May 23 in the US.
NoA exec Cammie Dunaway made the announcement just moments ago.
Earlier this morning, the sequel was only confirmed for a summer release at an Australian press event, pinned close to Metroid: Other M.
A live demo of Galaxy 2 has just been shown at the company’s Media Summit in San Fran. Get details on that here.
A new trailer is set to hit later on tonight.

It’s not uncommon for first-party Nintendo games to launch on a Sunday in the US.
