Star Wars: The Force Unleashed sells 7 million

LucasArts has confirmed it’s sold 7 million units of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.
The news comes after the company showed recent and continuing support for the title, which released in 2008, giving it new single-player DLC last week for PSN.
Xbox Live gets it later today.
The Force Unleashed II was announced at the VGAs back in December for PS3, 360, Wii, DS and PSP. No release date has yet been given for it.
Thanks, IG.

How the hell did this happen? Did anyone actually play the game?
So disappointing.

One of the best Star Wars games out there.

“How the hell did this happen?”
They released it over 7 different platforms. 8 if you count the iPhone one.

Star Wars, innit. The Old Republic’s a big one to watch, IMO.

@4 TOR is definitely one to watch, but that’s because it’s Bioware, not because it’s Star Wars.
TFU was little more than a hack’n'slash with light sabers set around some really poor level design and mediocre graphics.

The Demo Was Decent But You Could Tell The Game Definitely Wasn’t Worth $60 New

Force Unleashed would’ve been brilliant if the target system wasn’t so dismal.

Force Unleashed would have been great if they did’nt give the main character a lightsaber.
If I chop someone I want to see him at least loose some limbs not just rag-doll about. There was a massive disconnect with what you can do in the game and the effects.

That’s true actually, I did notice a distinct lack of dismemberments.
Even the old Jedi Knight series managed to have the odd arm and head fly off.

you haven’t played silent hill home coming
The Vader level on Kashyyyk is up there with some of the finest star wars gaming experiences, rest of the game so so
i’d quite like to play the dlc as i’m sure those levels will be a damn site better then the ones featured on the disk

I really hated this game. It’s just a mockery of Star Wars.

SIlent Hill Homecoming was not the worst game this gen. Not the best SIlent Hill mind you but if Konami had just released it as Homecoming and not as Silent Hill franchise, it would have been a great game. Too human on the other hand that was the worst game this gen.

I think the worst thing is when you have to pull the Star Destroyer out of the sky. It was supposed to be the stand out part of the game instead it’s just the most tedious experience I’ve had in gaming.
