Capcom’s said it’s planning to make a “huge announcement” for sometime in April.
The firm’s John Diamonon dropped the news in a post on the US PS Blog about the recent price-cuts on Marvel vs Capcom 2 for PSN.
“Oh, one other thing. I’ll be back in April for a huge announcement. Stay tuned and let the speculation begin!”
The company recently dated its two biggest games for this year, Lost Planet 2 and Dead Rising 2, for May 18 and September 3 respectively.

I’m now immune to Capcom announcements, given that they haven’t said anything to excite me in over two years.
I’m guessing it’ll be Resi 6, right?
Gekidami said:
I’d be surprised if it was the next console RE game, i’m pretty sure Capcom said that they were going to let some time pass before working on the reboot.
Maybe its the next DMC, or a PS3/360 Monster Hunter game.

Thats what i thought, its about time for a Res 6 announcement
but considering all the latest huge announcements have been little more then gears characters in LP2 and the DR2 prequel thingy, this’ll probably amount to nothing more then a bit of dlc…or
monster hunter is coming to the UK!!!

ONIMUSHA PLEASE!!!!

I’ll be a bit pissed if someone announces another Resi. It’s done. Forget about it for a year or so, put your heads together and scare us sh*tless again – alternatively, don’t bother at all! >:(
As for DMC, perhaps they’ll try something new there. Change the genre, do something so it’s not more of the same – I’d be interested then.
Overall, though, I don’t want to try to guess it.

“In what is destined to be the first genuinely epic game of 2009, Resident Evil 5 is practically guaranteed to be the last of its kind, with the game’s producer, Jun Takeuchi, assuring us that a reboot is in order for the inevitable Resident Evil 6. That’s not to suggest that there’s anything wrong with the evil at hand. Quite the opposite; it’s awesome fun, and we’ve beaten the game from beginning to end, and have a week’s worth of detailed, insider info for you to enjoy.”
could be a while before RE6 is ready to be unveiled… I agree with it being a possible DMC5 announcement, unless it will be an “official” showing of Monster Hunter Portable 3 for PSP.

The Adventures of Barry Burton – you heard it here first.

Huge announcement eh?
Resistance or Killzone characters in the PS3 version of Lost Planet 2?
Johnny Cullen said:
Haha! That’s plausable, actually.
Blerk said:
I’d take two copies of “The Adventures of Barry Burton”!

We’re definitely overdue a Devil May Cry 5 announcement. It’s been over two years since the last one.
Robo_1 said:
I fear Eregol has nailed it.
Execs really seem to find that sort of stuff amazing.
Although that’s a good point Michael, I think we could well be due another DMC instalment. How did 4 do at retail?
Brinaldo said:
I hope for a new (decent) Dino Crisis… or Onimusha. Anyway, something really huge. A new Resident Evil wouldn’t be bad too…
YoungZer0 said:
It’s better be the Resident Evil 2 Remake.
Eregol said:
Ooohh, how about Nathan Drake in lost Planet 2?
He’s got previous with Sunny and Snowy Climes.

The next DMC…Now that they have studied how Bayonetta worked out and since her “hype” is already shaking off from people now is the best time to announce the next DMC which i think it will Top Bayonetta(gameplay wise)
mington said:
i’m playing through bayonetta now, its alot harder then DMC 4, as in i’m dying alot more
if it is a new DMC it’ll probably have a sexy female playable character from the get go, maybe dantes daughter or something
Michael O’Connor said:
Strangely enough, I find Bayonetta to be *easier* than Devil May Cry 4. Hmmm.
absolutezero said:
Nero is easy mode in DMC4 but Dante is a load more rewarding to use. Get the timing down on the Dodge in Bayonetta and everything kinda becomes alot easier.
mington said:
maybe i’m just playing it wrong
i’m very reluctant to use any of the health/shield/power up items, its like cheating, but i’ve just bought my first accessory which sends me in to witch time apon being hit, so should be plane sailing from here out
it’s probably why i never finished megaman 9, i out right refuse to buy health from a shop!
bayonetta’s fucking hot!
