I’ll be surprised if Uncharted doesn’t win a whole bunch of those, too.

I don’t know, Modern Warfare 2 is in there, I could see that pulling in a lot of votes (even though I don’t think it’s anywhere near as good as Uncharted 2).

It’s going to be an odd situation.
The sort of people who vote for these games in the Baftas might not be the Modern Warfare sheep that are plaguing the game.
MW2 is getting quite a backlash from the gaming faithful and as such people are coming away from it, a lot are saying the MP doesn’t live up to CoD4.
So, it’ll be interesting to see if MW2 manages to pick anything up.
I voted for Uncharted 2 by the way.

Best story: Brutal Legend?….although the intro was kick ass
i guess mass effect 2 missed the cut, or it would be a strong contender for most of these, i love the hard house club music on omega

I just picked up Flower in the PSN sale…wow, totally awesome. Deserves to win both its categories.

Of course Mass Effect 2 missed the cut. It was launched in 2010.
The baftas covers 2009.

I remember voting for Arkham Asylum and Uncharted with monotonous regularity, so good to see them make so many lists.
Also good to see no surprises being very dodgily parachuted in onto the lists, as happened a couple of years ago when Kane & Lynch – which hadn’t even been released yet – appeared from nowhere in several nomination categories.

I see a lot of criticism of MW2 on the board.
Funny thing is it is the first game ever that I have stuck it out online for so long and I am really enjoying it.
Yet all I hear is mw2 online sucks or its for noobs etc.
So I have come to the conclusion that it is me that is wrong about this game as I certainly do not find it easy in any way.
.
I also think the whole set up is done very well from the kick off different guns to the sound of knees cracking or people dying (mainly me)
Any way just my thoughts on the whole thing even though I am totally wrong about it.
/goes off and sulks.

U2 deserves to win healthily. MW2 will probably steamroller all games with integrity and panache. MW2 does not deserve to win big, but it probably bloody will!

Im wondering if Lucasarts and Eidios are kicking themselves at the reception Uc 2 has got. MW 2 is still the definative mp experience in my opinion.

I am a sucker for ffa and yes I normally get whopped.
Starting to play a bit more team deathmatch now and quite enjoying it.
Only 2 more points for my first prestige. waaay.
