Sega’s confirmed it’s releasing Yakuza 3 in a premium edition when it releases in the UK in March.

The pack contains:

  • Four packs of DLC (Battle for Survival, All-Star Tournament, All-Star Tag Tournament and Haruka’s Challenge)
  • 31 track soundtrack
  • Who’s Who of Yakuza

Sega also released some shots of the DLC, which you can find below.

It’s out on March 12 for PS3.

Is that definitely the cover we’re getting in PAL-land? Usually we get a decent cover over here, different from the inevitably crap American version (see: ICO for example, google the PAL version and then the USA version)

I was hoping that this time it would be different too because that cover is truly awful, especially compared to the Japanese one :(

Wait a minute Johnny! What about this:

You yourself reported that the standard edition was the one with all the goodies! What gives? Is there now a premium edition after all? Explain yourself!

There is one version for PAL territories. It contains all the content mentioned above. The grim cover looks like it’s just part of the deal, though. :(
