Heavy Rain reviews go live, set phasers to stun

Heavy Rain US Boxart

The embargo for reviews of Heavy Rain is gone, with impressions and scores starting to come in.

Famitsu gave the game a 37/40 earlier in its newest issue, while the first review in the world went to OPM with a nine last month.

Today, however, is when the online reviews break cover.

Get them below. We’ll add more as they come in. If you have links, add them below.

The Quantic Dream thriller is out on February 23 in the US and February 26 in the UK for PS3.

The demo’s available on the PS Store from tomorrow, although you can get it early if you’re lucky.

Destructoid tend to go with lower spectrum scores.

Was it Nick who reviewed it? I remember he said he didn’t much like it in his previews…. different folks different strokes I guess.

Agreed, it was my favourite game of last year (well, close to inFamous).

It’s just when Jim has an opinion on something he’ll express that opinion in any and all articles he writes about the game (even if It’s just some simple dlc news).

Nordic magazine Gamereactor gave it 9 (Denmark), 9 (Sweden), 9 (Norway) and 8 (Finland).

I’ll accept that. His opinion may have been off the mark, fictional, hypocritical and rash… but, I suppose, it was still just an opinion. . No matter how hard he tried to pass it off as fact.

The Demo Just Gives You A Feel Of What The Full Game Will Be Like, Although 8/10 Might Not Be My Final Rating For The Full Game, 8/10 Is Quite Good For A Demo To Score.

I’ve only skimmed the contents (i’m on my phone and it’s awkardbut from what I can make out It’s an invite system for chat rooms in which you can invite players to support games from the text chat room. Only a few games are supported so far, most noticably Bioshock2, but more should be soon.
