Ubi’s soldiers have become so advanced they are in the future. Terrorists rejoice, for now…

So… This was the BIG announcement from Ubisoft?! This is not funny, not at all.
Still waiting for the goddamn Beyond Good & Evil 2, anyway…

Dude
You were the one who said it was a BIG announcement in the first place…..
Not going to believe you ever again.
Especially if you use the word BIG.

Well I’m happy, it’s been far too long since GRAW2, which was little more than an expansion pack for the first game really, so I’m looking forward to this.

GRAW’s co-op play was fantastic.

Oh good yet another game that will be like Modern Warfare

I’m not sure why anyone thought it would be anything but Ghost Recon. I’m pretty sure it’s been informally revealed — trademarks, earnings calls, etcetera — at least twice.

Anyway, I’m moderately interested in seeing how the game has evolved. It’s probably telling that they haven’t stuck with the GRAW brand, but even if they had the game would need to have changed given the great strides that have been made in cover-based third-person shooters since the last game.

Eregol – I didn’t say it was big.

Note I quoted it. It was Ubisoft that said it was big, not I. ;)

Apologies.
Still, not going to trust you with the lottery numbers.

So, is that it? A name? No details?

Third person? Setting? Screens? A press release even?

Lame.

:( @ Eregol.

NGC – Press release is above. The closest thing to a screen right now is the logo.

I’m trying to find the trailer right now, but to no avail.

As long as it’s more GRAW and less CoD it should be fun :)

No worries Johnny – it wasn’t a comment against VG, I just thought UBI might have released more info considering how ‘BIG’ they suggested this announcement was.

Why didn’t they just call it Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 3. :P

Reading that press release, and specifically what’s NOT written there (see it, no, just there, right between the lines ;p) it looks like the Xbox 360 players have just been invited to two beta tests.

There should be a competition to see who is more arrogant – PS3 fantards or PC fantards.

@ Dralen

“Why didn’t they just call it Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 3.”

Exactly!
GRAW3 isn’t a perfect name but “Future Soldier” is so lame.

I’m more surprised people didn’t see this one coming!, Ubi have stated a few times that a new GR game was on the way and Ghost Recon Future Warfighter was a registered trademark of Ubi
