UK charts: Mass Effect 2 maintains number one spot
Mass Effect 2 has maintained its number one spot in the UK charts.
The BioWare RPG held off Ubisoft’s Just Dance into second and Modern Warfare 2 at third.
EA’s Dante’s Inferno entered at four, while Star Trek Online just missed out the top ten at 11.

I’d take a guess and say that next week BioShock 2 will take its place.

Yeah, it’d be surprising to see it hang on against Bioshock. Great result for them, though!

Those charts are horrible…
Just Dance, 10 weeks old.
MW2, 14 weeks old.
Fifa 10, 20 weeks old.
Wii Sports Resort, 32 weeks old.
NSMB, 13 weeks old.
Wii Fit Plus, 14 weeks old.

anyone know if any of the supermarkets are doing a release special for Bioshock 2, i could do with Sainsbury’s matching their MW 2 deal, got a few Nectar points to spend hehe.
Its the only way the missus will let me buy it.

Glad EA finally has a hit (that’s not a sports game).
Also shocked that MAG is still in there after two weeks.

Sooo Mag still in the top ten after 2 weeks so offically not a flop then. Also Uncharted 2 is still at 23 been there for months good to see it has legs

TH… this weeks sales of MAG are down 43% and at less than 23k (possibly considerably less). It’ll be weeks (if ever) before it even hits a silver award level (100k). But based on last week I don’t think I’ll be able to persuade you that chart position isn’t everything…. so it’s best left alone.
On a different note, as of the end of January, Uncharted 2 had hit 300k sales in the UK, which is a great performance.

Nice to see Dante’s Inferno make the top 5 in launch week.
