Tetsuya Nomura has told Famitsu Kingdom Hearts III will happen at somepoint.

Huzzah!

The series's creator told the magazine fans have been pushing him for a sequel.

"Fans and partners alike are pressing us for it, so we'll work to realize it as soon as possible," said Nomura.

He wouldn't confirm if development would be carried out in Osaka - where the portable spin-off, Birth by Sleep, was made - or in Tokyo, where development on Nomura's current project, Final Fantasy Versus XIII for PS3, as well as Kingdom Hearts I and II took place.
