Back of FFXIII 360 seemingly confirms DLC

Oh noes! Something tells me that Microsoft at X10, GDC or E3 2010 will announce that FFXIII DLC is coming to 360 FIRST!!!!!111OneOneOne

While the 360 getting DLC first is a delicious prospect, it’s highly unlikely.

That’s not to say MS couldn’t be the first to announce it though. Makes perfect sense to announce it next week.

Doesn’t mean anything there are plenty of game with that on the back and don’t have dlc and plenty of game without Game content on the back with DLC. Playstation 3 games don’t have that label on the back would be very unlikely they give it just to MS.

I think MS will announce DLC at X10. Because i don’t understand WHY they are going to have at their own X10 even FFXIII

As for the DLC i don’t think it will be exclusive to Sony or Microsoft and even it was to one of them no big deal as the things SE said removed from the game(which apparently will be DLC) are nothing to get excited for.

Edit — It ruined my experience as a hardcore RPG fan. SO much content was cut … NO Japanese voices thanks to the 360′s old format (UPGRADE PLEASE?!). I have so much and too much to complain about. And the DOWNGRADES we’re getting. -_-;; …..

No, but then they only actually had voice in them from FFX from which they were also pushing a single DVD and probably just as strapped for space.

They’re using single layer Blu-ray. Unlike other games like MGSIV and WKC they use dual-layer. DL BD is 50GB, so YES they could have added THE EXTRA CONTENT plus THE JAPANESE VOICES.

Oh GREAT. Then add the Japanese voices. That shouldn’t be much now, should it? 360 users can enjoy their game and those that want the Japanese voices can enjoy it on the PS3. Even if FF never added Japanese tracks, there’s a lot of other games that did add Japanese tracks. Audio isn’t as big as video.

They could do it in theory, but they wouldn’t be able to use uncompressed audio… and that’s also assuming that they didn’t pad the files out over the drive to improve seek speed (that 40gb number is only for the files we can see in a directory view).

There seems to be a lot of hate going round the forums for FF 13. The reviews are pretty low considering its FF as well, PSM 3 gave it a %70. Its going to be intresting to see if FF can stand up to Mass Effect etc.

I think Final Fantasy has probably had it’s day in the west. Normally a big deal would have been made by everyone by now about the game, yet it seems like like any other big publisher release rather than a megaton drop.

Most of the people complaining about it will buy it anyway, though. FFXII was something of a Marmite game and still sold over 5 million copies, so I don’t think it’s particularly outlandish to expect this game to do similar numbers.
