Rumour - Harmonix working on something outside of Rock Band

If recent royalty requests are any indication, Harmonix could be working on something outside of Rock Band.

The developer has recent put in requests to use several songs for a project, which seem to be more R&B then rock.

The songs are:

  • M.O.P. - "Ante Up"
  • Cascada - "Evacuate the Dance Floor" [*shiver* - JC]
  • Trey Songs - "Say Aah"
  • Timbaland feat. D.O.E. - "The Way I Are"

Amplitude 2, anyone?

So far, what we do know is Harmonix is working on Green Day: Rock Band, which was thought to be in the hands of another developer last week.

That wasn't the case, as the developer told us at the time.
