Sony France says EyePet 2 is currently in the works
Sony France’s George Fornay has announced in an interview that EyePet 2 is currently in development.
Apparently, the little monkey thing was popular enough over in Europe to warrant a sequel.
No date was given on EyePet 2, but Gamekyo (JeuxFrance) says it’s happening (via D’toid).
The first one’s not even out in North America yet. No monkey for the States and here EyePet 2 is being announced.
Poor kids wanting a monkey are crying now.
GameStop has the original down for a November 1 release in the States, but we’ll mail Sony and ask about that.
Who knows, maybe higher ups are planning on releasing it with Arc, since the peripheral was delayed to later in the year.

Surely this game is more suited to add ons than a full blown sequel. I fully expect ARC support to be patched into it.
