Rumour – Sonic 4 due for release in July, coming to iPhone

If shots on the Sonic 4 website are to be believed, the game is heading for a July release.
The title is also due for a release for iPhone, as well as PSN, Xbox Live and WiiWare, according to the pictures found in the source code of the website.
Earlier this morning, Sega announced the first true Sonic sequel in over 15 years, with a definitive release for summer for the 2.5D game.
It’ll be released in episodic chunks, with Episode I coming first.
Thanks, AGB.

I hope iPhone Sonic 4 plays better than the Sonic 1 emulator Sega released. Touch screens work surprisingly well for some games, but the speed and precision needed for Sonic requires a real joypad.
