NBA Jam

EA’s released the first shots of its reboot of NBA Jam. It’s still in 2D, and still looks properly bonkers. That’s a good thing, by the way.

Find them over at Kotaku.

It’s due for release sometime this year for Wii.

The revival was announced to be in development at EA Canada last month.

I am almost embarassed to admit this, but this is going to be a must buy for us. Way too much fun to be had here. Will wait for a final review before picking it up tho.

Not about the graphics, really. If it is four player, same room, and it should be, this will be a lot of fun to play.

Hmm. You obviously “had to be there”. I don’t recall ever playing an NBA Jam game in the past.

NBA Hangtime and NBA Jam were the same, right? (N64)

NBA Jam was on the SNES (I remember it fondly), although there may well have been a Megadrive version also.

I don’t see why they wouldn’t want to put this on PSN/Xlive also – it looks fantastic!

OMFG this looks shit and retarded. NBA Jam was such a product of its time. Why are they doing this? It won’t work :(
