If you were hoping the next PixelJunk might take advantage of PS3's wand controller - rumoured to be called Arc - it sounds as though you're out of luck.

"We don’t currently have anything for motion controls," PixelJunk Monsters and Racers director Rhod Broadbent told VG247, speaking in an interview published today.

"We’re just waiting for an idea to run with, that’s all."

PixelJunk Shooter director Shouichi Tominaga added, however, that the idea of motion controls was personally inspiring.

"In my head, there are a bunch of ideas," he said. "I like new technologies, so it’s of interest to me. We’ve got nothing to announce at this point, though."

PR boss Duncan Flett said that staffers has tried Natal at TGS last year, and had found it "interesting".

PS3's motion controller was recently delayed to autumn 2010. It was originally planned for a March release.

Natal's expected at the end of 2010.

Q-Games has no announced projects at this time. It released PixelJunk Shooter last December.
