New Mass Effect 2 videos show Grunt and Thane

BigDownload has two new videos of Mass Effect 2, showing Thane and Grunt.
In the videos, they answer why they’re joining Shepard’s suicide mission, talk about killing stuff and more. It’s awesome with a capital ‘A’. Hit the link.

Game Informer ed scotches Fallout: New Vegas cover rumour
Game Informer executive editor Andrew Reiner just confirmed that Fallout: New Vegas is not the magazine’s next cover.
A forum post on Gamespot today dropped what appeared to be a wealth of detail on the game, as well as saying the semi-sequel was GI’s next pin-up.

Japanese hardware charts – FFXIII effect wears off for PS3
The party’s semi-over for Sony and Square Enix: PS3′s Japanese hardware numbers dropped massively after the release of Final Fantasy XIII, which has dropped to fourth in the software charts.
Meanwhile, Wii won the latest round of the hardware wars, gathering over 215k.

Sony just confirmed that MAG’s open beta is now live.

Whitten: “Natal plus Live is going to be groundbreaking”
Xbox Live general manager Marc Whitten has told Game Informer that plans to integrate Natal and Live are to be break new ground.
The exec refused to be drawn on specific detail as to how to motion-sensor is to integrate with 360′s online service, but did drop some hints as to where to look for clues.

People Can Fly trademarks Bulletstorm
Epic-owned People Can Fly has trademarked something called Bulletstorm.
While details are non-existent, Epic did say August 2008 that the Painkiller-creator is working on a new IP to be published by EA.

Rumour – First details of Fallout: New Vegas leaked [Update]
Update: Bethesda’s just told VG247 it isn’t commenting on “rumours.”
Original Story: Take with the biggest pinch of salt you can get, but the first supposed details of Fallout: New Vegas have emerged.
