Watch an opening cinematic sequence from Mass Effect 2

Mass Effect 2′s out in the US and everybody loves it.

BioWare’s space-RPG will be hitting Europe tomorrow, in case you’ve just been released from prison or have just woken up from a coma or something.

Anyway, TheSixthAxis has released a video showing an opening cinematic sequence from the game, based on choices the player made during Mass Effect 1.

Remember, it may be different from yours, so don’t look below the break if you want to remain a virgin until you pick your copy up.

Dragon Age: Origins Queen of the Black Marsh video

BioWare has released a teaser for its Awakening expansion for Dragon Age: Origins.

It shows a dragon. A big magical dragon.

The expansion hits in March. In the meantime, Return to Ostagar is slated for re-release next week after some fixes.

If that’s not enough BioWare goodness for you, co-founder Ray Muzyka told Eurogamer today that the firm plans to reveal more games at E3 this year, and is working on a few titles for PS3.

RE5 Gold: Mercenaries videos highlight Josh and Excella

Capcom has released two new videos highlighting the Mercenaries DLC featuring Josh and Excella.

Excella was revealed earlier in the month for the episode, with pics.

The boxed copy of Resident Evil 5: Gold will contain all the additional DLC released, plus the upcoming Lost in Nightmares, Mercenaries Reunion, Desperate Escape, and costumes for $49.99 as a single Blu-ray disc for PS3 or as a DVD with a token for the downloadable content for Xbox 360 on March 9.

Lost in Nightmares and Costume Pack 1 will be released on February 17 and 18 for 360 and PS3, respectively. Desperate escape along with Costume Pack 2 will hit on March 3 and 4 for 360 and PS3 respectively.

New Red Dead Redemption video reveals weaponry

Rockstar has released a new video for Red Dead Redemption, which is part two in its Weapons & Death series.

Playing as John Marston, you will have a bunch of different weapons on-hand to take care of any situation from the sniper rifle to dynamite and even the use of the first machine gun created.

New shots of the cover mechanic for the game were released last week, and some popped up on Gamespot today as well -some new, some not.

The game’s slated for PS3 and 360 April 27 and 30 in the US and UK, respectively.

God of War III dated for March 16 in US [Update]

SCEE’s just told VG247 an EU date will be announced on the EU PS Blog at 6pm GMT.

Update 2: No confirmed EU date yet.

SCEE just said it is aiming to release in the PAL regions in the same week as the US.
