Sony’s John Koller talks 3D integration on PS3, calls it “fantastic”
John Koller, Sony’s head of PlayStation marketing, has weighed in on all the 3D hype at CES 2010 and reiterated Sony’s stance that 3D integration on PS3 is “as simple as a firmware update”.

Forrester Research analyst calls 3D reports “mostly hype”
James McQuivey, Forrester Research analyst and VP, has weighed in on all the 3D tech and news floating about, and has labeled it nothing more than “hype”, citing that not even one million US homes in 2010 will own a 3D capable television.

Pachter: There’s loads of “shovelware” and “crap” out there for Wii
Michael Pachter has told Gamasutra that with Wii’s “cheap and novel” gameplay, it was no wonder the console was such a big hit in ’07 and ’08.
However, high sales of the system also produced unwarranted expectations from Nintendo and publishers alike, creating a market overwrought with “a lot of crap” and “shovelware”.

Greenpeace lists latest rankings, still hates Nintendo
Greenpeace has issued another electronics ranking survey, citing how well each company does by reducing its environmental footprint.
Per usual, the advocacy group finds fault with Nintendo, putting it at the bottom of the list once again.
