Studio Liverpool to see possible lay-offs, production to cease on some games
A post over on fansite WipEoutZone has revealed that SCEE plans to make a cut in staff at Studio Liverpool with the WipEout HD team rumored to be on the list of redundancies.

Dead to Rights: Retribution gets concrete release date, pre-order incentives
Dead to Rights Retribution has been confirmed for release on April 13 for Xbox 360 and PS3 in the US and April 16 in Europe.

Say “Halo” to the first trailer of Vanquish, from Platinum Games
You’ve waited, and now, it’s time to watch. GameTrailers just pried the lid off Platinum Games’ latest project, a trigger-happy affair called Vanquish, which is being sown together by the deft hands of Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami.
Hey, Mr. Vanquish Hero Guy, we could swear we’ve seen you somewhere before. Huh? This is your first videogame gig? Guess it’s just our imagination, then. Weird.

It’s official – GTA IV: Episodes from Liberty City coming to PS3 and PC
Ever since their respective launches, GTA IV’s two DLC episodes have kept the GTA experience from going cold only on the Xbox 360. But no more. Today, Rockstar announced that GTA IV: Episodes from Liberty City is bringing a double-helping of DLC to PS3 and PC this March.

US PSN update, Jan 28 – ACII, UC2 PS Heroes Pack, LBP costume
Sony has released the update to US PS3 users and it contains the Assassin’s Creed II DLC, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves PlayStation Heroes Pack, and the Groundhog Day costume for LBP.
