Sega to reveal Project Needlemouse’s actual name on Monday
Sega’s revealed that it’ll reveal the proper name of Project Neddlemouse on Monday.
But only on one condition: help send in 100 fan-made art, and you get your name.
As well as the name, you also get concept art from the first zone in the upcoming Sonic 2D project, as well as something else.
But, again, only if you help send in 100 pieces of concept art.
Sega also released new concept art for it, which is above. Find the full art over at its US blog.
No date yet, but it’s due this year for PSN and Xbox Live Arcade.

i played the ds sonics, and i didn’t care for them much, maybe it was because it was on a small screen
as long as this looks really nice and hits all the nostalgia buttons i’ll be happy
we want a pointless HD snowboarding section

i just want it to be fun, what i hated about the later 2d sonics was all the pulley systems and shit that stopped the action dead

Fingers crossed it’s a HD remake of Sonic Advance 1 and 2 – those games were utterly awesome.

I never understand when people say this… Sonic has never been a ‘always moving’ game. In the first game there are sections that are designed to stop you dead even just ledges on the first level that you’ll always hit of your trying to do the level quickly.

@7 yeah sure there was ledges, but i recently played the trail of sonic 3 and it was way more stop starty then 1&2, all i’m saying is this game would be alot more fun if it was sort of geared towards time trails, imagine having a ‘trails HD’ style leaderboard with all your friends best times posted
