Japanese hardware charts – PSP gets 3rd week at number one thanks to VC2

PSP has gotten its third consecutive number one in the Japanese hardware charts released by Media Create.
Two weeks ago, we blamed Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. This week, it’s Valkyria Chronicles 2.
The RPG gave the system a bit of a push, despite the game only landing second in the software charts, with 52k PSPs sold.
Wii came second with 45k and PS3 selling 26k to stay third.

Same as Hindle.
If it wasn’t for MGS4 and LBP, it’d be my GOTY for 08.

I’m surprised to see the Wii still selling in such big numbers.
I thought the Japanese public had started to go off it.
